Agreement

NorthLadder has collaborated with Amazon to provide Trade-in services to customers of Amazon. The trade-in transaction is between the Customer and NorthLadder or its assigned group companies or nominated trading partner, and Amazon is not a party to this arrangement. The Customer acknowledges and accepts that Amazon is not responsible for, and shall have no liability in respect of, the sale of the Customers item to NorthLadder.  

Definitions

Customer or You: natural persons of legal age, or legal representatives of minors or incapacitated persons, who have Internet access and a valid email address, and who wish to use the Trade-in Platform to resell their Product to the company.

Offer: the trade-in offer made by NorthLadder to the Customer in respect of a Product the Customer wants to trade-in.

Product: Any personal item which the customer has legally acquired and wants to trade-in using the trade-in services of NorthLadder on the NorthLadder Trade-in Platform. 

Trade-in Platform: The platform on which the Merchant operates a trade-in program pursuant to which Customers can sell a Product in exchange for an Amazon Gift Card

NorthLadder Services and Third Party Services 

You acknowledge and agree that Amazon shall be neither liable nor responsible for any actions or inactions of NorthLadder in relation to the Offer or its benefits.
 
By agreeing to accept the Offer, you hereby represent, warrant and covenant that:

a. you are the sole, absolute and lawful owner of the Product and you confirm that the Product was exclusively for personal use, and not for business or commercial use;

b. by proceeding with the trader-in transaction, you have also accepted and confirmed that the value of the Product will be provided to you in the form of Amazon Gift Card(s) issued by Amazon, which is redeemable as a balance in your Amazon.ae account. The use and redemption of the Amazon Gift Card(s) will be governed by the applicable Amazon terms and conditions.

c. the Product along with all accessories, wherever applicable, under the Offer is genuine and is not counterfeit, free from any and all encumbrances, liens, attachments, disputes, legal flaws, exchange or any agreement of sale etc.

d. wherever applicable, the details of the Product, including its condition, are as stated at the time of availing the Offer;

e. in the event the Product is a mobile, laptop, tablet or smart watch, such Product must be in working condition. You must remove any scratch-guard, screen-guard, tempered-glass, or other protective covering applied to the screen of the Product. You must delete all personal data, sign out of your iCloud (iOS) / Google (Android) or similar accounts, and remove any lock code or passwords;

f. the battery of the phone/laptop/tablet product proposed to be exchanged must not be dead or non-functional. In other words, the device should turn on and operate even when the charger is disconnected;

g. the Used Product should not be damaged, broken, or otherwise tampered with. The Product should match the details entered while placing the order.

2. You further confirm that:

a. all the data in the Product (if any and wherever applicable) will be erased before being exchanged under the Offer;

b. in spite of erasing the data manually/electronically, if any data still accessible due to any reason, Amazon or its affiliates, the seller, the partner, the future buyer, or the manufacturer shall not be responsible for the same and you will not approach any of the above parties for any retrieval or deletion of the data.

NorthLadder agrees to purchase the Product offered as a used product at the agreed price defined in the deal confirmed by the Customer. NorthLadder shall, upon inspection of the Product offered for sale by the Customer, be entitled to modify the value previously offered pursuant to the Product’s condition and any defects detected upon actual examination. The Customer shall be entitled to accept or reject such value without any liability on NorthLadder and/or Amazon. 

The Customer shall be responsible for removing all data stored on the Product and all the stickers before handing it over to NorthLadder. NorthLadder shall not be held liable if it subsequently appears that any of the data or information stored on the Product, which have not been removed by the Customer before handing over the Product, have been stolen, transferred or used by any other person or entity in any way once the Product has been sold by the Customer to NorthLadder, or registered dealers of NorthLadder. 
 
All Products bought by the NorthLadder should not have Carrier and iCloud Lock.. NorthLadder reserves the right to refuse the offer to purchase a Product if the Carrier and iCloud lock are still in place. 
 
The Customer agrees to provide NorthLadder with necessary personal details for the purposes of the trade-in transaction and shall allow NorthLadder to capture their photo IDs. Any personal data of the Customer shall be handled in accordance with the NorthLadder privacy policy which can be found in Annex

Applicable Law, Jurisdiction, Compliance 

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Australia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the interpretation and implementation of the provisions of this Agreement, submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Australia.

NorthLadder will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries. 

Any Customer using the NorthLadder website who is a Minor (under the age of 18) cannot register as a user of the website and shall not transact on or use trade-in services. 

The Customer must retain a copy of transaction records. 

The Customer is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account with NorthLadder. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy 

No Refund Policy and No Cancellation – Once a Product has been paid for by NorthLadder, there are no refunds or cancellations. The Customer understands and accepts that no refunds, exchanges or cancellations are possible in respect of any sales of Products or any NorthLadder services. 
After the evaluation report with final price is sent to the customer, in case the customer wishes to have the product return, Merchant shall ship the product back to the customer once the customer has paid a return shipping fee of $15.
